Introduction:

The National Center of Excellence for Aviation Operations Research (NEXTOR) was established on June 26, 1996 as one of the five Centers of Excellence created by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Our strategic goal is to lead the aviation community by advancing new ideas and paradigms for aviation operations, educating and training aviation professionals, and promoting knowledge transfer among industry, government and academic leaders.

Airport Systems Planning and Design: 36th Annual Short Course

This intensive course provides an introduction to the broad range of issues that arise in planning airport systems and the development of new and existing airports, as well as the design of airport facilities to handle both aircraft and passenger demand.

2007 NAS Performance Workshop


September 5-7, 2007
Pacific Grove, CA
This workshop focused on modeling, measuring, and managing the performance of the National Airspace System. The role of the Operational Evolution Partnership in delivering mid-term performance gains while also furthering the transformative vision of the Next Generation Air Transportation System was considered.
